When I enlisted in 1966 the M-14 was the Army battle rifle. I developed an instant trust with the weapon. It had shown me with a minimum of maintenance it would give me excellent service and, as long as I did my part, would put my enemies flat on their ass with center of mass hit. I thought it was the pinnacle of Garrand development.
Lo and behold, " T H E S O C O M II" was born. I know people compare ammo packing of it to Matty Mattel, but I can carry enough ammo to give someone a decent firefight, beyond that you're doing a lot of spraying and praying with Matty. Wear your BDU's crammed with Matty ammo and I'll pack my battle load I carried in Nam and I'll more than hold up my end of whatever we get into. Been there, done it. As the saying goes,I've talked the talk, and I've walked the damn walk too! To me, this is the best battle rifle ever made, AK's included! S O C O M II. Life Taker, Widow Maker!!!
