I own both they are great ccw always a 1911.Shooting is a dream carrying is even better. Looking for a great carry weapon I would say you could not go wrong.Buy it shoot it and really see what a great 1911 is all about.

Springfield EMP 9MM...Perfection, November 15, 2010

I purchased the Springfield EMP 9MM to use for my carry weapon. I couldn't be happier! It is a perfectly engineered version of the famed 1911 in 9MM. Extremely concealable yet w/ hydroshoks can deliver the power you need. the factory night sights are exactly what you need for low light conditions. Overall, i would say that the EMP is the perfect ccw weapon!
