S&W M&P 15-22 LR, July 17, 2012

I have a 5.56 AR-15 and my dad was always interested in the platform. He had a Ruger 10-22 and was thinkning about the S&W 22. So I bought it for him for Fathers Day. Let me just say (this is no lie!) right out of the box @ 100' a full 25 round clip he kept a pattern of 2-3" of bullseye on target! I thought he was just lucky. He is 77yrs young. So I tried and did the same. I liked it so much I hung up my 10-22 and got myself one also!

Smith and Wesson M&P did it again, reached perfection, I just never thought it would be with a 22 on an AR platform! They came out with this rifle right around the time where all the other manufacturers were coming out with them and S&W hit it right on the money. Flawless shooting, round after round with the cheapest of 22 ammo. Lightweight is good, don't be fooled by the plastic this is made from, it is a quality 22! Iron sights included, which function perfectly!
