Sadly I am only 18 so I am not old enough to get my LTC, However my friends father owns one and I have fired it many times at the range, along with .357 Magnum, M&P .45, and 9mm Berreta and a few others and the Sig P226 is by far the overall best handgun I have ever fired. It shoots true, very crisp trigger pull, smooth as hell, and easy to handle recoil. It also doesnt hurt that it looks pretty badass too. All in all this gun is the leader in its class.

I have a 9mm Glock, a .45 Kimber, and a 9mm Beretta. I can easily say this is the best built, most comfortable shooting handgun I've owned. I liked it so much, I just got the P227, which is basically the .45 ACP version of the MK 25 / P226. I love my MK25 and highly recommend that you buy it if you're a serious shooter / collector. Just an excellent weapon. Pricey, but worth it!

Of all the handguns I have owned over the decades- this is by far the best- no doubt.

my personal guideline for buying any weapon is "if the seals use it,thats good enough for me" .this is the top of the line in handguns.the quality is apparent at every turn.i bought 2 and may get 1 more

After finally taking the gun to the range I can say that it's a fine pistol and accurate too.
Big bright night sights that are easy to pick up in a dark room
Crisp smooth 10# trigger
3 15 round mags included
And incredibly well built
Not many. The weight may be too much for some this is a full size semi auto.
And the lack of any safety levers may put off those more focused on safety.
But all in all a very well built pistol representative of its p226 pedigree. A definite must for anyone looking for a service auto, or for military looking to ditch that toy of an m9 for a real gun.
