I just purchased the Sig M400, haven’t even shot it, and am already regretting my choice. I purchased the rifle online and had it shipped to my FFL. I picked it up, gave it a quick look-over and took it home. When I inspected it at home I noticed there is a small dent in the barrel. The dent was painted over so I knew it happened during manufacturing not shipping. On the stock of the gun was a tag that says “”Upon inspection of your firearm, if you find a quality issue call: 888-285-3858”, so I did. I spoke with a Mr. Kyle Faucher who asked me to send in pictures of the damage. After he looked at the pictures he called me back and told me obviously it was done at the vendors who supply their barrels and was then painted over. His solution was to either send in the gun and they would try to blend it in the best they could or he could send me a couple of PMAGS as a consolation. I thought they would send out a new barrel. I told him since they do not stand behind their products that I guess I would take the “free” PMAGS and stay away from Sig products in the future. He said ok. I was very surprised to hear that they are ok selling blemished guns and they do not guarantee defect free materials. I will not purchase any more guns from them and this one is now up for sale.
