I've had my 229 for about a year now. It shoots incredibly accurately and has a great feel to it. I think that is why I got a Sig...something about the grip of it just made sense to my hand.
The trigger has a tad more creep that I would prefer, but I can have that worked on easily. It is probably best to keep as is for carry though.
On the downside, I do worry about the long term durability of the alloy frame's frame rails, as it does show the wear, but I have been assured by Sig that it is normal.
