The AKMS is an upgrade from the basic Romanian underfolding rifle. Nice laminated wood grain handguards, lower forearm has palm swells, ergonomic pistol grip, U.S. 1.5mm thick receiver, U.S. made barrel and a rock solid, steel reinforced folding buttstock all combine for a refined look and feel.

Great AK-47, July 01, 2012

I purchased this about a year ago and is is a excellent weapon. I've since put about 1500 rounds through it and there has been not one miss-fead, jam or anyhting. The front sight was staked on perfect, finish was excellent and wood was dark and in really nice condition. I have played with the front sight with elevation and windage and even with cheap ammo I can hit a 3" shot group at 200m....Ive read horror stories with some AK's and sight problems and feed issues. This AK from Century has been the complete oppisite and is a fine weapon to purchase and own. I know from time to time there might be a dud here and there regarless of brand, I attribute most complaints to the shooter not knowing enough about basic gun marksmanship....For the low price, its worth every penny and she will chew up and spit out anything thing you feed her......Get them while you can.........

Excellent weapon, January 06, 2012

Put several hundred rounds through this weapon. I'm impressed with several things. The simplicity of it, the power behind it as well as the accuracy. This is a very simple weapon. No malfunctions at all. I was in the Marine Corps for 12 yrs and have fired many weapons. I'm impressed.
