This is hands down the best AR that I have ever fired. The two stage trigger has a nice crisp break to it. Being the revolutionary operating system that it is, not having to worry about carrier tilt as in other piston driven AR’s is also a very nice plus. Not sure if it is the unique operating system or not, the recoil is unlike any other AR. There is virtually no muzzle rise at all, most of the recoil is straight back making for faster target re-acquisition than any other AR I have fired in my alsmot ten years in the Army or shooting in the civilian world. Being that all of the carbon stays in the barrel and forward in the piston chamber, cleaning is a breeze. Wipe down the bolt face real quick, drag a bore snake through the barrel and use a chamber cleaning star real quick and you’re done. Every 500 rounds or so I tap out the forward roll pin and open up the piston chamber and use a wire bore brush to scrub the carbon out of there but that also is quick and easy. Equipped with Magpul MBUS second generation flip up sights I placed 2nd in a local military rifle iron sights only shooting competition. I highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a great piston driven AR.
