The RRA LAR-PDS™ Carbine with Ribbed Handguard is one of a new generation of firearms employing RRA’s patent-pending Piston Driven System (PDS). Featuring a purpose designed bolt carrier, an adjustable gas piston and an over-the-barrel spring and guide rod arrangement, the RRA LAR-PDS™ is able to completely do away with the traditional recoil system associated with AR-style firearms, making for an extremely versatile weapon platform.

What a sweet AR!! Yea, the lack of rail is a bit of a drag but outside of a Leatherwood CMR and Troy Micro Tritium sights I wasn't looking to put anything else on it. Used the gas rail for a sling mount. I totally agree with Nuttnfancy on this being a classic. The facet you can't use a can on it is mute for most of us as getting one is a PITA. And it's a true 5.56.
