Important Notice From ROCK RIVER ARMS: Due to increased demand in the firearms industry for bolt carrier groups and increased process time required to chrome carriers and their components, these parts have become extremely difficult to provide in a timeley manner. In an effort to satisfy our customers and get them their products as quickly as possible, we have discontinued chrome carrier groups as a standard component in our Operator 2 Rifle Specials and substituted the standard phosphated bolt carrier. This applies to all existing orders for these rifles. Parts and substitution orders placed will be on an indefinite backorder. We apologize for any inconvenience. Effective July 10, 2012.

Awesome Rifle !, November 18, 2010

I bought this rifle in March 2010, after shooting a friends RRA AR15 and absolutely love it; it looks awesome, functions even better and is just plain fun to shoot. It is a 556/223 rifle I have put thousands of rounds through it (the cheap federal bulk stuff) and its functions flawlessly (there’s a reason why the DEA uses them). I have mounted optics, a vertical grip (ended up taken off), sling, a light & Bipod and it still handles great with the extra weight. The ergonomics are very comfortable. I have taken it out to the desert with friends on August days to rainy/ cold November days and it never fails to shoot great. It also came with the scope rings & detachable front and rear sights, which some rifles at this price point do not. I would highly recommend this rifle for someone looking for a quality AR15 at a good price point.
