PTR-91F 308, 18 Inch, Black Furniture, HK Flash Hider

Recently received a new PTR 91 Black Classic. I did perform a basic pre-firing cleaning but not as detailed as recommended in the owners manual. Nonetheless fired a box of PMC Bronze and a box of Mil surplus. So far so good! No malfunctions. More accurate than I can shoot it and easy to handle and not much kick. I'd recommend it to a friend. It's a nice rifle, well made and well worth the price. PS I got interested when I heard PTR was moving out of Conn. Checked'em out and bought thier rifle! Support freedom!

I purchased a PTRE 91 and couldn't be happier. It functions flawlessly and is accurate using the iron sights. I would advise purchasing a sight adjustment tool and going to the various web sites available on how to adjust the rear sight. No compalints whatsoever and it is made here in the USA.

I bought a used PTR-91 at Impact on Black Friday. Compared to the Century Arms rifles the PTR is in a much higher class. Even though this was a used weapon it's fit and finish is excellent. The bolt gap is .016 inches. I have only fired various reloads out of it and there were no malfunctions using FMJ and soft point ammo. Accuracy was very good using the iron sights. The only downside, the handguard and stock PTR-91 uses is kind of cheap.
