Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56, NP-1: Big game hunting Reticle

Developed for the military''s extreme long range shooting and hard target acquisition, the 5.5-22x50 and 5.5-22x56 NXS provide broad and magnification and range, combined with a large field-of-view, four inches of eye relief and 100 M.O.A. elevation travel. This range of magnification and internal adjustment allow most .50 BMGs to achieve the 2,000-yard mark with accuracy. These NXS models are numbered among the most advanced field tactical scopes ever produced. Nightforce established new standards for performance when we debuted these scopes, and they remain the benchmark by which all other scopes are measured.

NP-1: Big game hunting Available for all Nightforce riflescopes, the NP-1 is designed for tactical, varmint and big game use. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Superior to duplex reticles, this floating three-plex design utilizes all the functional elements of a duplex without unnecessary obstructions of your field of view at the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions. Measured at 22x, a fine crosshair with a .080 M.O.A. subtension extends 4 M.O.A. from center and is bracketed by heavy bars at the 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions. The NP-1 directs your eye to center for quick target acquisition. Nightforce owners and members of our own staff pick the NP-1 as their preferred reticle for traditional hunting.
