I believe in order to qualify is an AOW the receiver must have been manufactured as such and not be capable of being fired from the shoulder (i.e. can't mount a butt stock) -- if it has a butt stock, it's a shotgun, not an AOW.

Something does not seem right here...A 14 in shotgun above(The AOW 590 CRUISER)only required a $5 tax stamp now you say this one requires a $200 tax stamp. Could you recheck this? >> An AOW (ATF Classified as an "Any Other Weapon")is a $5.00 Tax Stamp. One that is registered as a Short Barreled Shotgun is the $200.00 Stamp. Thanks!
