Out of my Top 5 pump-action shotguns, this one makes Number 3. As shotguns go it has all the makings of the best. Smooth action, reliable feeding, durability, etc. Some of the features that put it high in my list are the large magazine and the ability to shoot 3" shells. Two of my problems with it are minor: 1.) It's a bit front-heavy and 2.) The bayonet lug prevents you from using forends with lights attached and isn't really necessary. The former is expected with larger magazines and can actually help with muzzle climb. The latter is just irritating. The main issue I have with the weapon is how loud the action is. When you pump a round into the chamber everybody hears it loud and clear. A positive when you are scaring off intruders. A real negative if you plan to use the weapon to hunt .
