I’ve had one of these for 30 years. I carried my Ontario machete all over the east and mid-west. A solid tool – I’ve used it to cut brush, help set up camp, dig holes, chop roots, and even one time to cut down tree up to 10” in diameter on a railroad right of way when my axe broke. My machete held up, but my hand was worse for the wear. I still have the original one, but recently bought a second one to keep in my truck. At under $20.00 it’s a steal. Buy the sheath to go along with it and keep you safe when carrying.
