Although a little tricky to install, I love this sling attachment. Besides being ambidextrous you can fully close the stock down to it's first position. My last one kept the stock from fully closing. Highly recommend!

Very nice fit,

I was a little hesitant buying this after reading some of the reviews on removing the nut on the extension tube but if you have the heavy duty wrench and follow the available videos it isn't that difficult. The swivel is a bit tricky to attach to the sling if you try to attach it without looking down at it and it is a bit noisy when not attached to a sling but overall is a very good alternative to some of the other single point attachments.

must have for single point slings,

I bought this along with the MS2 sling and they go together great. The sling is quick to clip into due to its size and it swivels as though it has hot butter on it. Magpul overdid themselves again with this one

It is MagPul After All!,

I've installed several of these on both my own rifles and for customers. While the installation the first time was, tricky, it was far easier during the successive installations. All said and told this is a fair alternative to other fixed position receiver extension tube based connectors.
Pros: Inexpensive, MagPul quality in the materials. Easily allows for transition type slings such as the MagPul MS2 or others using attachment points such as HK snap hooks and Mashhooks. Also allows for generally uninhibited transitions between shoulders.
Cons: Loud, that's the biggest con I can think of. This isn't really a sling loop adapter you would want in an environment where you need quiet such as hunting. Initial installation for those who haven't installed one before can be tricky with getting the station block to stay in position, while getting the back of the plate flush against the lower receiver.
Over all, this fits a fair market and it is MagPul after all!
