Leupold''s 1x14 Prismatic Tact red dot sight delivers quick & precise target
acquisition. This sighting system allows the operator to engage the target
with a tactically correct ''heads up & both eyes open'' stance. The resulting
enhanced peripheral vision and awareness ensures faster response times &
greater levels of safety and success are achieved. Because your life & the
lives of others shouldn''t rely on a battery, Leupold has designed this
tactical sight with the ability to be used with or without the included
illumination module. When the illumination feature is employed, the
brightness can be adjusted to suit ambient lighting levels. Without the
illumination, the black dot reticle remains visible & stands out against
busy backgrounds. The construction of this sight is rugged and nearly
indestructible; the main tube is milled from a single piece of aerospace
aluminum, and the etched glass dot reticle ensures your ability to continue
to gain positive sight acquisition under the toughest of battlefield
conditions.
Unlike “fuzzy” red dot sights, the etched glass Circle Plex™ reticle is sharp and defined, illuminated or not, and can be used to estimate range.
The removable Illumination Module screws into the Leuopld® Prismatic™ 1x14mm Tactical to illuminate the reticle in red.
Remove the Illumination Module, and the etched glass reticle is still visible, so you’re never battery dependent.
Nine brightness settings for changing light conditions, with an automated low-battery indicator.
The Leupold Circle Plex™ reticle is etched glass, making it visible at all times – even without batteries – unlike conventiontional red dot sights. It’s also extremely sharp and clear, unlike the fuzzy dot of red dot sights.
With a more generous field of view than competitive red dot sights, you’re on target faster.
The true 1x optical system allows you to shoot with both eyes open for the superior depth perception and wide field of view that’s crucial for fast target acquisition and reactive shooting.
Slotted, ½-MOA click windage and elevation adjustments are easy to change with the edge of the adjustment cover.
The integrated base system includes different height mounting spacers to work on any type of firearms platform.
The Prismatic is also compatible with the A.R.M.S. #22-34mm Throw Lever Rings Base and Spacer System, and conventional 30mm rings.
Can be mounted using a ratchet over the outside or inside the mounting screw’s handle.
This system decenters the objective lens, rather than tilting the erector system, so it’s more repeatable and more durable.
Exterior lens surfaces are treated with DiamondCoat 2™ for increased light transmission and abrasion resistance.
