With 7-round flush fitting magazines riding in their shortened frames, Ultra Carry pistols carry more shots and have more power than almost any revolver. A dual-captured low effort recoil spring design keeps manual slide operation smooth. It also dampens recoil enough that these pistols are easier to control and shoot than a revolver.

Let me start by saying I'm female 5'1 and 98lbs and this was my first .45. I purchased it because of the small size and reputation that Kimber has. I've shot over 600 rounds and it is very accurate and easy to handle recoil, even for me, and I've had no misfires. I purchased this gun to as a CCW while hiking and camping for protection against wild animals while alone in the woods. With the conceal holster the weight and size are very manageable and I didn't start to notice it until after about 10 miles. If you're looking for an easy to carry .45 this is worth the extra cash.

I purchased an ultra carry after considering several carry guns. Without a doubt this is the best on the market. At 25 feet I can put 25 out of 30 touching with blazer fmj rounds. shoots smooth with no jams even with the cheep stuff. My wife can even shoot wih no problems, and she is 5'1". QUALITY

i am now forced to shoot one handed after an injury, i test drove an ultra carry at a local shop and was very pleasantly surprised at how easy to control this small light .45 is and the low felt recoil experienced-it functioned flawlesly for the entire session .I was so taken by its attributes and quality that I purchased one for my very own carry, fun .45 plus I am considering the purchase of another kimber
