This is a big folder, but doesn't seem heavy. I have 7&1/2 inch hands and can open and close this Tanto hybrid in the blink of an eye. No play whatsoever in the blade, razor sharp out of the box, and the grip material means this knife isn't coming out of your hand. I'm a heavy sweater, and this knife hasn't come close to slipping out of my hand. You have the Tanto for straight stabbing, an area for slicing, and the serrated back for twine to heavy rope. I own a lot of knives and carry a small Gerber assist for little tasks and the Ken Onion designed Kershaw for business along with my Ruger Sp101 .357 with crimson trace grips. You can pay two hundred dollars for a knife, but it will not out do this knife for less than sixty bucks.
