I bought this knife about 6 months ago and have not had any complaints about it. It keeps it's edge, it performs as good today as it did the first day I bought it, with one little caveat, it when swimming with my in Hawaii by accident and the spring has rusted and lost a little of it's original "ummph" when opening, but that is my fault and should not reflect on Kershaw. I doubt they meant this to be a diver's knife. The grip is good, the size is right, the assisted open is fantastic and the design is just plain sexy.
