Kahr P9, Black Polymer Frame, Matte SS Slide 3.5"

Originally we bought one of these to fit my wife's small hands. It fit well, but she was having trouble with her grouping. I gave it a try and found I had a similar problem. We narrowed down the issue to the double-action trigger. It has a long pull with no discernible increase in resistance. Basically we couldn't tell when the hammer was going to fall and the gun fire. I'm sure we could have gotten better after some practice, but we decided to go with another pistol for my wife. Other than the trigger this is a great gun. The single-stack magazine makes it good for concealing or people with small hands.

Originally I fell in love with, and purchased, a CW9. The CW9 and P9 are basically the same gun. From the outside the P9 has some extra 'sytling' and the stamping is better quality. The reason I ended up buying a P9 is because the front and rear sites are dove-tailed so a set of nite-sites can be put on. At present the gunsmith said they weren't available for the CW9, it'll happen eventually as it is an excellent gun. At 20 feet I could put bullets through the same hole over and over again. Any of the Kahr's in this series are a smart buy if you can get over the price.
