Bought two Ka-Bar Knives (this one and a tanto stacked leather marine 7" blade) and I ended up getting rid of the latter because this blade is all I needed. To this day it is my go-to tool/security.

Absolutely Amazing Durability, July 26, 2011

I got one of these in stainless steel back in the military, and have used it for camping and outdoors events for 10 years after. Sharpened it once after all the wear and tear, It will hold an edge for a very long time and does not bend under any conditions. This one does not rust either. Highly recommend someone looking for a truly rugged knife to consider one of these in stainless.
