I wanted a high quality compact weapon that could also be used for long distance. That's what I got. I chose the 18" barrel for added distance, muzzle velocity and accuracy. This weapon is very well designed and easy to operate. I have run a couple hundred rounds through my Tavor and it's beginning to break in. As it breaks in the operation becomes even smoother. There have been no feed/ejection issues. I was impressed with the neat pile of ejected brass. Take down & cleaning are very simple. The only thing I would like to see different on this weapon is a lighter trigger. A battle sling is a needed addition; the weapon balances great whether hanging or aimed and is loads of fun to shoot. Recoil is light & comfortable and despite the short length of the weapon, it is not too loud (I practice some without hearing protection). I feel that this rifle meets my expectations and it is worth the money.
