I love my Gerber Mini Fast Draw. I really like assisted openers, and this one is a good value. I don't have a higher-quality blade to compare this one to, but I suspect a higher grade of steel would hold its edge longer. For my needs, though, this is a great knife in a great handy size to keep with me at all times. I use it for opening packages more than anything else, but it's also good for any general purpose cutting needed, and could be a lifesaver in an emergency situation.
