I've bought a Glock knife as a backup camping knife. Right of the bat i had to get it resharpened as it was very dull. When i tried to use the knife to chop down some wood i quickly found out the edge does not last as long as my Cold Steel SRK or the Cold Steel Shovel. I called glock and was told it -the Glock knife is a very cheap product, do not expect good performance from it. The blade is a bayonet that Glock puts their handle on and cuts off the ring to mount it on the rifle. While it may look nice, it did not work out well as a camping knife.
