Wasn't really a glock fan at first, first 15rnd mag (yes, they haven't made "clips" since the M1 Garand so it's a mag) and I loved it. Talked to everyone I know that carry it as a duty weapon and they've said the same thing. Very reliable. Bought one as my carry firearm and I love it.

you're complaining ....???? all i can say is buy a 1911, there is a reason they make it the way they do, the curve makes it more accurate, it also places the recoil where it should be, to make it alot lighter. In my opinion its one of the best firearms ever made.....period.

Glock 22 Gen 4, June 13, 2012
Great gun, I carry it everyday as my duty weapon. Accurate and reliable at a good price. If you want something that feels like a 1911 buy a 1911.

Not really impress, December 23, 2010
Shooting accuracy is good the trigger is heavy the grip feels better than the older version, the nightsight is a plus. The lower receiver quality built is poor Glock claim perfection but they can't even make their molding and mounting straight, the bullet casing eject towards your face.Loading bullets to the clip is difficult with the speed loader. The recoil spring displaces after several shots fired. This is the scary part Did a six feet drop test (loaded) the weapon and it fired. One in a million?

Gen 4, Can it get any better?!, November 29, 2010
The grip is not as abrasive as the RTF grips on the Gen 3. With the double recoil springs this thing shoots like a 9mm, well ok, not quite that soft but it definitely takes the snap out of the recoil! There are so many after market products for the Glock that you can literally make it a "custom" gun at a considerable amount less than a custom gun! I was skeptical about shooting a "plastic" gun but was pleasantly surprised at how accurate it was. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone as their first/last gun to buy.

Glock 22 Gen 4 for Law Enforcement, November 12, 2010
I bought this gun to be used as my duty weapon. When searching for a duty weapon, I had to take alot of things into consideration. Like how it feels in your hand, ease of operation, weight, ease of care and maintenance, recoil, and overall performance, among other things. It came down to a Smith and Wesson M&P 40 or the Glock 22. Both guns have outstanding qualities, but the Glock came out on top for me. It is very light weight, extremely easy to disassemble and reassemble for maintenance. It doesn't have much recoil, and it is unbelievably reliable, which is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing a gun for duty. I would definately recommend this gun for anyone looking for a good reliable duty weapon.

Glocks are good but..., October 28, 2010
Hate the grip angle. Needs to be more like the 1911 grip angle.
