As noted by Impact Guns, the picture is of a Gen 4 Glock 22, but with a quick GIS, you can find a picture of Gen 3 Glock 17. You will see they look nearly identical, with only a few differences cosmetically.
I bought my Glock 17 from a physical retail store. Since the Gen 3's are being replaced, I got mine on sale for $530. I've used some frangible Remington +P rounds, Blazer Brass, American Eagle, & some Remington range ammo. So far, I've fired around 150 rounds through this firearm with no issues yet.
The sight picture may not be for everyone. In addition, the sights that came with my gun are plastic. I would have preferred metal sights, as the plastic ones can be damaged easily with light abuse.
The weapon is easy to shoot. There are no external safeties other than the trigger safety. Some people may see this as a problem. I do not. Mine also shoots straight but a little low; though I admit, this may be due to operator error. Dis-assembly is easy, as is cleaning the barrel & slide. Cleaning around the trigger mechanism is a little tricky but not really an issue.
I was going to buy a Beretta 92FSA1, but at the time, I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Glock and there appears to be more aftermarket parts available for the Glock. Overall, I'm very pleased with the gun.
