I have a G5 on a 5.56 AR-15. It suppresses the blast by about 35 dsb. It is now comparable to a long rifle 22. I don't have full auto capability. and I really like the quick disconnect feature. Research I have seen shows that it will fall apart running full auto at 750 rounds in 5 minutes. It heats up firing 30 rounds at 1 round per second about 8 degrees per round. Im happy with it but the class III permit took 7 months pre-Obama hysteria.
