The FNP-45 features traditional double-action/single-action (DA/SA) operation, a high-capacity polymer frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts, accessory rail and ambidextrous frame-mounted decocking levers and magazine release. The FNH-45''s barrel is hammer-forged and the stainless steel slide has a hard, matte black Melonite® finish for added durability. The FNP-45 also offers a loaded chamber indicator on the external extractor. A variety of standard and night sights are available. All FNPs come standard with three magazines and a lockable hard case.

Double-Stack 45 goodness, December 10, 2010

Another quality FNH product. Huge capacity magazine. Nice double-action trigger. The single-action stage is very sensitive. I love shooting this gun. With the double-stack it makes the grip a little large for people with small hands. My wife struggles a bit with this pistol in her small hands. Shot plenty of cheap Herter's steel-case ammo through it with no issues. Accuracy is everything you could want with nice adjustable sights. The de-cocking lever is also a bonus! If you're looking for a hi-cap 45, this one is definitely worth a look!

Have had my fnp-45 for 6 months now,never had any problems. Have fired at least 2000 rounds through this weapon. Eats up any kind of ammo with no hiccups.
