My wife picked out this handgun as her own personal weapon. She is a relatively new shooter and liked the ergonomics and the fact that the 5.7 had a manual safety. The gun has delivered on all expectations and more. Recoil is very moderate and easy for my wife to handle. So far not a single misfire! We added a Viridian C5 green laser and sighted in at 15 yards. Now my wife shoots 3 inch groups offhand at that distance. Unfortunately, we live in Kalifornia so we could only get the 10 round magazines. I believe, this handgun, with a 20 or 30 round mag, would be a great home defense choice and also a fun plinker if the 5.7 ammo was not so expensive. The only issue now is, who gets to shoot the Five-seveN first when we go to the range.
