EGW Tactical "SUPER" Scope Rings
Machined from Billet Aircraft aluminum two up at a time, in our American made Fadal Machining center where we bore the holes to 30mm +.0014 / -0. When we machine the profiles of the ring we build in a .030 radius on all outside edges.
Next we machine a 45 degree bevel around the entire ring and clamp to match.
We clamp the pair on a 30mm mandrill with a 1/8 pin to locate the pair exactly together. Thread form the tap holes in the ring thread forming is 40% stronger than cut threads.
The rings are serial engraved before they are separated one ring and cap has a period in front of the number so the caps match exactly. .0040 and 0040
