Panther LR-308C

Everyone loves a classic. The LR-308 Classic was initially released as the LR-308 TAC 20, which featured a 20” heavy barrel, fixed front sight, A3 receiver with detachable carry handle, fixed A2 stock, and a four rail free float hand-guard. Shortly later it was re-designated the LR-308 Classic, replacing the four rail tube with conventional Military hand-guards.

This rifle fills the gap between our heavier target 308's and our lighter, shorter ranged carbines, and takes the role of the battle rifle to new heights.

Worth every penny., August 17, 2012

I received this rifle about sixth months ago, and I have put 2k rounds through it so far. I am extremely happy with the 100yd grouping. I am using a Vortex Diamondback 1.25-5x40mm for the optics and I love it. The craftsmanship was flawless. I have never had a FTE or FTF, and I have shot everything from american surplus, federal gold medal match, and russian steel cased ammo. This rifle shoots anything. Definitely worth every penny.

Finally to the range., July 06, 2012

The groups at a 100 in a new rifle were great. I had a cheap Russian scope and the screws kept comming loose.Another lesson. The after market mags I got elsewhere failed to my horror. I like the Trigger pull. I put a rubber recoil pad on it for a longer pull and to reduce the schock. I trust this rifle.
