I have owned this version of the CZ 97B for a few months now. I had the opportunity to buy one that was gently used and I don't regret it for a minute. This gun is a great value for the price. Buying it was one of my better decisions. This is a well machined firearm and the black polycoat finish is both attractive and durable. The grips are checkered wood. Mine is unaltered from the factory. The accuracy of this gun impressed me right away. I regularly shoot mine at 25 yards and I am very pleased with the results. The CZ 97B is a substantial large frame.45 with a double stack 10 round magazine. This translates to a large grip and some weight. If you have small hands, or don’t care for heavy hand guns, you might want to try one before you buy. Personally, I love the ergonomics or feel and find this gun very comfortable. IMHO comfort enhances confidence which breeds better shooting. Other guns in my possession may come and go, but I intend to hang on to this one for a very long time.
