As you have surely heard before, you need to decide what matters to you in a pistol, what are you going to prefer and what will you allow. This, like any other pistol, should be judged for the quality it brings to its specific niche.
If you want:
-An all steel pistol(except for plastic grips.)
-A compact(but not subcompact) gun.
-A service pistol with an interesting history.(*Well actually this the civilian model, not the cz 82, but close enough.)
-A large clip capacity (12 rounds.)
-More than one clip included, please? Yes!
-Quality, fast acquiring sight. (It has a nice, wide notch, in the rear sights, to acquire the front sight.)
-A great trigger! -Durability! -Accuracy!
-And all at a good price, like most all CZs, for that matter.
And you are less bothered by:
-The "marginal round," the .380acp.
-The weight (I personally picked this gun because I wanted a heavy steel gun.)
-The thickness (Again, this is something I will be less bothered by because I'm a pretty large guy and have a relatively loose fitting wardrobe. This gun will fit naturally into most hand sizes but releasing of the mag or the slide both require slight adjustment of the hand.)
These are the main points that you should probably consider when looking at this pistol. With those conditions matching mine, I could not have found a better pistol of this niche. If this pistol interests you, you might also check out the Beretta but personally I would look no further. This gun was just what I wanted and just what I wanted, done well.
