I own a Walther P99 AS and I had an opportunity to check out the Cannik TP-9. And let me tell you something. While it resembles a P99, when you actually look at it and hold it, it feels nothing like a P99. Trigger was stiff in SA and hard to pull in DA. The decocking button is harder to operate than it is when doing it left handed with a P99. As a matter of fact all the metal edges were sharp and unrefined. I can't even say it is a poor copy, because it has no good attributes of any pistol I've held. Granted I've never fired it, but it seems to me you're better off buying a Taurus or a keltec.
