The V-Max, which is also loaded in CCI’s 17 Mach 2, boasts a 2550 feet per second muzzle velocity in HMR. In addition, it possesses a higher ballistic co-efficient than the TNT HP, resulting in flatter trajectory. The V-Max also provides explosive disruption for outstanding performance on varmints.
This 17-grain bullet was put into production largely in response to requests by customers, and expands CCI’s 17-caliber offerings to an industry leading four loads.
CCI Brand Manager Paul Coil said, “We were very happy to add the V-Max to our 17 HMR line. This bullet has a tremendous upside. The 17 HMR line will benefit from this extra option. The V-Max will provide hunters with a fast, flat-shooting bullet that is great on varmints.
