The Browning Buck Mark carbine is a fun little shooter. Based off the Buck Mark pistol, it also takes the same magazines as the pistol.
Pretty accurate too. The one I fired had fiber optic sights and while those arent the best for target work, they do great for standard 22 plinker work and hunting.
Reliability was not an issue although there was some ammo that it did not like.
The only problem was the front fiber optic rod fell out sometime while hunting and was never found. Not sure if this was an issue with it being loose from the factory or if it was knocked off while busting through the brush.
Since it is based off of the buck mark pistol, the slide comes back over part of the stock. There is a red mark on the stock noting where the slide comes back to, its a good idea not to stick your nose up past that mark.
Overall, a great little carbine.
