Cleaning a gun always seems to take too much time. After stripping, cleaning, lubricating and reassembling, it almost seems like a shame to dirty it up again by shooting it (that's almost!). And the most fun-to-shoot guns get the grimiest first. That's when they start to jam, fail to feed, and all the other annoying stuff. I can't eliminate the ritual of stripping and cleaning, but I can get a sticky gun going again by spraying the offending parts with Break Free CLP. Less down time, more shooting. It beats cleaning in the field or just going home. Instead I can clean and oil the gun when I get home, and my fun won't be interrupted. PS; I have used it to free up my skeet thrower and to lubricate tools on home projects.
