The BlackHawk CQB/Rescue (Rigger) belt is Mil-Standard 858 certified and built with parachute quality buckles and adapters. The webbing is 1 3/4" Type 13 (7,000 lb tensile strength) and Type 12 liner for the abrasion buffer. The CQB/Rescue belt is sewn with #5 nylon cord on a Class 7 sewing machine for that complete confidence in life threatening situations. The belt has hook and loop along the entire length for securing the bitter end down.

Sizes available: small (up to 34) regular (34 to 41) and large (41-51)

Special Note: Fully tested and certified in accordance with Mil-Standard 858
Tan color, medium size.

Owned one and wore it for 2 Iraq deployments and had to hook through on the floor of some helo rides. Never feared once that there was going to be an issue. This belt is TOUGH! Just dont try and take it off if your in a sneaky situation, its impossible.

I've worn this belt for the last years- it's survived 2 tours in Iraq. The D-ring/Carabiner attachment ring is sturdy, and in conjunction with the velcro, makes for an extremely positive hold around your waist for whatever you are hooking up to. While I would not advise this to be used as a replacement for a rapelling harness, it does make an excellent safety belt for such a harness, as it can be locked in with the harness via a carabiner. Also works well in helicopter situations, where there are no seats- you simply hook into the floor with the web leash and carabiner.
