Beautiful Bergman MP35/I
The MP35 was adopted officially as the MP35 by the Wehrmacht and it saw action predominantly with SS troops. The MP35 is a blowback operated, selective fire SMG that fires from an open bolt. The weapon has a non-reciprocating cocking handle placed at the rear of the receiver, which is operated in a similar fashion to bolt-action on a Mauser rifle. This involved the weapon carrier to manually pull the handle up, pull backwards, push forwards and lock back down. When the gun was then fired the cocking handle remained stationary. A very neat set up. The mode of firing is selected by applying different pressure to the trigger - a short pull fired single shots; a long pull is full automatic fire. Feed is from right side of the gun, with ejection to the left. A rare fully transferable C&R gun with a ton of history.
Gun is in excellent condition and functions perfect. Small hairline fractures in the stock behind the bolt and by the magazine well, crack was repaired and stock refinished. Included is one original 32rd mag and two original MP34 mags that we understand can be modified to work in the MP35.
