This is an outstanding gun for use as a backup/secondary ankle holster type gun. If you're looking for a primary concealed carry gun, there are other options to consider, such as Kel-Tec PF-9, Kahr Pm-9, Glock 26, and others, which give sub compact size, in a larger caliber. However thoughtfully consider weight, firepower, and the likely hood of you ALWAYS having your gun with you when considering any gun for concealed carry, because if your gun is at home, it doesn't matter what caliber or how big or small it is.
Another thing is that this might be a great gun for women. Because I know a lot of my female friends don't like the recoil of the sub compact 9mm's, however when they shoot this gun the recoil isn't as intimidating for them. And if your girlfriend or wife likes shooting this gun, practices with it, and carries it everyday. Then when the time comes for her to use it, she will have it on her. And when it comes down to it that's all that matters regardless of how you feel about the caliber, size, look.
Pros:
Weight: This is an extremely light gun weighing in at around 11-12 oz.
Firepower: 8+1, This is an outstanding amount of firepower for such a small package, and if you have an extra magazine, you will have the ability to shoot numerous rounds.
Sights: While they are very small, this gun does have sights that do help when your shooting.
Cons:
Caliber: The .25 acp round has been proven and done its job in defending people. However with other guns on the market such as Kahr that gives you a similar size in 9mm, those might be better options. However the end result is what you like, because as small as this caliber is, it can still save your life if you need it to.
Accuracy: The barrel on this gun is 2 inches. Therefore the distance it will be accurate at is going to be 5-7 yrds. And in the event that you pull this gun in self defense, accuracy at 7yrds is going to be questionable. However this is simply something that you would need to train with, to improve accuracy.
Overall, if you are considering this as a backup gun, a gun for your wife/gf, or just want something to have fun with(and yes it is a lot of fun to shoot), this is an outstanding gun to own. Because keeping in mind that this is a backup gun, its firepower, size, and weight are absolutely amazing.
