The fact is, when the SOF community had to pick out a combat shotgun for door breaching and room-clearing, they tested many but ultimately chose this fine weapon. There are a lot of good shotguns out there for target shooting, sporting clays and other functions - the M4 is the best choice when you have to put your life on the line. Reviews are opinion based - this shotgun is the finest, most reliable firearm on the market. I would suggest purchasing some of the additional chokes and a T6 telescoping stock from Benelli if you choose to go with this fine weapon.
