Good Strap Cutter/Egress Tool, December 28, 2010

This strap cutter is a solid tool for emergency situations. Strong and rugged, it can easily cut through heavy webbing – seat belts, aircraft restraint systems, etc. I keep one in my truck. A little heavier duty than the ASEK – but I prefer the ASEK for ease of use and general utility, and easily changed blades. Use one or the other – but always keep one of the two near at hand.

Nice, small package, December 23, 2010

This is a really good piece of equipment. It is very well build and the finish on it is great. I haven't had to use it yet for its intended purpose but have no doubt that it would perform well. I like the fact that it will cut safely with less chance of cutting myself/others. I like it and definitely find it worthwhile if you have the possiblity of doing vehicle extractions.
