Ontario “ASEK” or Aircrew Survival & Egress Knife Strap Cutter, is the current issue escape tool for U.S. Military aircraft pilots and crews. A great piece of gear that will help you out of a jam in a hurry. I carried one in one of my 9mm magazine pouches in Iraq. Never had to use it, but it was good to know I had it handy if I ever did. Solid design, replaceable blades, flat screwdriver tip and a good ceramic sharpening rod on one side make this a useful piece of gear.
